Wanda is survived by her brother James-Harvey Brotherton, Jr., Maitland, Fl., two sons, William Ransom Slack, Jr., (Pam) Lafayette, La., Travis Slack, Rossville, Ga., and one daughter Robbie Slack Guilbeau, (Merlin) Arlington, Tx. She was proceeded in death by her husband William Ransom Slack, Sr., and one great grandson River Malachi Menard. She was born July 17, 1931, in Rossville, Georgia, a daughter of the late Robbie Carlock Brotherton and J. She graduated from Rossville High School in 1948 and was employed at Hamilton National Bank for numerous years as a teller until she retired.
She was a member of Fort Oglethorpe Baptist Church and its Lydia Sunday School class.
Wanda was a lifelong resident of Fort Oglethorpe and Rossville areas until moving to Arlington, Tx., to live with her daughter. Sally worked for Human Resources, Childrens Services, and the Center for. Wanda Brotherton Slack of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga., died Thursday, Apat a hospital located in Texas surrounded by family. She was a lone time member of Saint Johns Episcopal Church in Longmont, Colorado.
